What is a Christian business leader?
Keywords:
BUSINESS LEADERSHIP, CHRISTIAN PERSONALISM, BUSINESS ETHICS, LABOURAbstract
This article aims to provide a contextual framework to the pontifical document Vocation of the Business Leader: a Reflection, that may contribute to the understanding of the anthropological and ethical assumptions of the business leader and his/her work as a social agent. In
the first place, the author presents the main features of the human person, as the Social Doctrine of the Church conceives them; then he refers to the specifically Christian aspects of this anthropology. The Christian business leader should combine the excellence in his/her work with human resources founded in faith and love to God and to the others.
