Against the directory. State reform, privatizations and fiscal changes during the last dictatorship according to the account of Martínez de Hoz

Abstract

This work analizes the books of memories and interviews of Martínez de Hoz to reconstruct his explanations regarding the reform of the State carried out during his administration. To carry out this objective, the article is divided into four parts. A first part, destined to explain the general spirit with which the reform of the State was sought. A second part, dedicated to analyze who were the main victims of these changes. A third part, that makes an analysis of the issue of privatization of public companies, while a fourth part will seek to account for the reforms with a view to the tax issue. Finally, this writing closes with some conclusions in this regard.
