Christians, thinkers of the social
Keywords:
Catholic social teaching, Catholic church, Humanism, Christianity, Paul VI, John Paul IIAbstract
The author analyzes the multiple perspectives of Christian social thought during the XXth century, highlighting the presence of a varied, rich, and inspiring reflection in its different facets. By the same token, he brings to the forefront the way in which these debates evolved during the period under study and how they connected with pontifical Magisterium. The most important conclusion is finding of the existing tension within Christian social thought, which must be inspired on faith, but at the same time has to develop into a concrete philosophy both for the understanding of social issues and for the necessary dialogue with other lines of thought that deal with the same problems.Downloads
