Abstract

All societies are stratified and myths are not free from this stratification. Myth criticism has to take into account the social classification. Through an analysis of the Don Juan myth, we can see the social difference that exists both between the speaker and the receptor of the myth, and the mythical character represented in the story and the rest of characters.
