Abstract

We intend to describe and analyse the pilgrimage pattern in medieval fictional journey, as it is adopted by Gonzalo de Berceo in his Vida de Santa Oria, starting from Aristotelian distinction between locus (static) and spatium (dynamic), and in the light of formal and functional archetypical contrast of path vs. goal.
