De la canción-objeto a la canción-proceso. Repensando el análisis en música popular

Abstract

This article proposes a reflection on the analysis in popular music, considering the song as a cluster of literary, musical, sonorous, performative, visual and discursive texts. These texts are shaped in different moments of the production of the song and in the various social spaces of its consumption. From this perspective, popular song is presented more as an open process than as a product set in a score. It will be the song-process-, then, which generates the textual plurality that defies any fragmented analisis of popular song, that this article interrogates.
