Abstract

This article provides a theoretical relay the conceptual definitionsof bilingualism and the
main models that attempt to explain the relationship and the cognitive processes that are
updatedbetween the semantic and lexical level of bilingual speakers. Thisrecession is presented in order to analyze what degree ofinfluence and interaction occurs between the lexicon of eachlanguage and semantic network that has a bilingual, illustrated byRussian speakers. This development is proposed to constitute a contribution to social and educational interventions involvingbilingual population, more frequent under increasing migration.
