Yves M.-J. Congar and Christian Sacrality

Abstract

Having highlighted in a former article the common elements that define Jewish and Christian attitude regarding the sacred, I intend here to focus myself onto the main issues that rule their differences. Following the guide of the well-known French theologian Yves-Marie Congar, I start my work by reading an article where he summarizes the question in the fundamental differentiation between “separation-sacred” and what He calls “pedagogicalsacred”. I continue the work in a new turn of reading, trying to reach a new level of reflection, this time centered on the idea of a “communicationsacred” and the paradox of an exclusive-inclusive-sacred.
