Abstract

Abstract: After reviewing some data about the life and work of Margaret Guenther in the first part, the text revisits in a second point, an article that will be ten years old in 2025: María Marcela Mazzini, «Mysticism in the Midst of Everyday Life». Fundamental aspects of that writing are highlighted, and some statements are questioned, seeking their update. In the third part, an attempt is made to take a step of deepening, considering a concept that Guenther develops in one of her articles and that could be considered an equivalent expression of the mysticism of everyday life: attending to the sacred. This idea unfolds in its various aspects throughout the rest of the text, and some ideas are outlined that aim to discover the sacred both in one's own life and in the lives of those we accompany.
