Abstract

The hundred years commemoration of the May’s Revolution founded an emerging country in every aspect, including the cultural. According to this, musicians, either natives or Argentineans for adoption and even foreigners – passing by or came for the occasion- wanted to be present with their performs; not only because of their feelings towards a country recently taking truth of its own cultural universe, but al least to show themselves off in that extraordinary occasion. This way plenty of musical events took place, being worth to be studied and remembered today, and, while celebrating a new centennial, making it possible to establish differences between them.
