Abstract

This work it aproaches the concept of nation and related others to the notion of sovereignty in the political Spanish-American language for the period 1808-1814. There are analyzed some works that realize of the diverse meanings associated with this concept in the revolutionary processes American and Spanish. The different conceptions supported by the social actors of the notable period link themselves then in perspective with his possible derivation as projection of the Nation in the constituent culture of Cadiz.
