American XVI century experienced the struggle between Spanish parties that vigorously and loyally defended their respective leaders. And Peru’s Conquest is one of the best cases to illustrate the level of violence partisan rivalries achieved, as the difficult and later violence relationship between Diego de Almagro y Francisco Pizarro showns.
