Abstract

The city of Rosario and its region experienced a profound process of institutional modernization during the first decades of the 20th century. In the present work we analyze the linkage between members of the educational system and of the Stock Exchange of Rosario, in an attempt to generate the necessary tools for the commercialization of the grain production. We will focus on the actions in favour of the commerce school and in support of the commerce studies at the University, and finally in the application of the first academic researches to the trade activity.
