Abstract

This article analyzes the role of the philosophic-dramatic art inside the anarchist thoughts between 1910 and 1930 in Argentina. Transformed in a combat instrument, the theater becomes the center of the anarchist evening meetings; where actors engaged in politics focus on transmitting with their example the values and principles of the party rather than making a living out of their performances. The anarchist art is full of meanings and enclosures a message beyond the pure aestheticism; however is also conditioned not only by the inner value of the work of art but also by the comprehension ability and receptiveness of the audience. As a result of this, these cultural expressions can contain a value away from their mere aesthetic value.
