Plagiarism detection process

The plagiarism control procedure for Temas de Historia Argentina y Americana involves the following stages:

• The instructions to the authors state the requirement for originality of the works presented.
• At the same time, the presentation of unpublished works is an exclusive requirement for the acceptance of originals.
• Authors are also required to explicitly mention sources in all citations, in accordance with the journal's standards.
• Once received, the works are checked by Turnitin's Similarity anti-plagiarism software.
• If any trace of plagiarism or self-plagiarism is detected, the articles will be rejected and the author will be notified.
