Abstract

This article offers an analysis of children and childhood in al-Andalus, from the period of the pregnancy of the mother, and the birth of the child, to its puberty. The analysis is based on the data provided by medical and legal sources, so that it covers different aspects of childhood (medical, nutritional, social and judicial).
