Abstract

On the occasion of the Dario’s passing Centenary, at the light of my own maturity, I try to outline the image of a man who lived in poetry, seeking for an escape from a distressing reality, creating a world of words to crystallize his colorful dreams, filled with music, rhythm and symbolism. Dario is said in the extension of his poetry, such as he is, such as he would like to be, revealing his soul with an incredible openness, exposing his needs, fears, miseries, longings, frustrations, weaknesses and hopes, thereby admitting his sense of guilt, love and faith in God.
