Abstract

The romanitas and latinitas of a given country is in direct proportion to the number of its civil Latin inscriptios. In the year 1994, Gerardo Pagés, a disciple of the great Jean Marouzeau and one of the most important Argentine latinists, published in this very journal a series of Latin insciptios on medals striken in Bueos Aires city. Now, as a homage to Gerardo Pagés, I publish a series of Latin civil insciptions of the same city, and I propose the young latinists to complete this series and to add the pertinent commentaries.
