LA AMISTAD EN CLAVE DEONTOLÓGICA. SU ESTATUTO SISTEMÁTICO EN LA METAFÍSICA DE LAS COSTUMBRES

Abstract

Friendship is a topic usually associated with the so-called "teleological" ethics. However, she has received attention from Kant and in a preferential way. If he had already given classes on friendship around the 1780s, in Doctrine of Virtue (Tugendlehre) of The Metaphysics of Morals, published towards the end of the 18th century, the subject takes on a systematic and conclusive place in the Doctrine of the Elements. This work explores the significance of this place for the Kantian notion of friendship, a significance that is not limited to reasons of an expository order. This is generally true for all elements of the Kantian system; but here, in particular, I maintain that friendship, as a Conclusion of the Doctrine of the Elements, collects in deontological terms, but at the same time ideal, all the ethical tension that comes from this Doctrine.
