“¿No les corresponde conocer el derecho?” Estudio de Miqueas 3, 1-12

Abstract

The author presents a study of Chapter 3 of the prophet Micah from a liter- ary, critical and rhetorical point of view. For this, he presents, in the first place, the structure of the passage in relation to the oracles of condemnation than lie within the text. He then tries to approach the text from a literary- poetic perspective, in order to explain the discursive force of the rhetorical figures and of the movement in the texture of the text. He also includes in his analysis the theological perspective of the expressions, especially evaluating how far it relates to Old Testament tradition. Finally, the intentionality of the text is evaluated from its editorial composition and from what the previous analysis has provided in order to imagine a way of actualizing the text.
