Carmelo Giaquinta and the Faculty of Theology

Resumo

The hundredth anniversary of the Faculty of Theology of UCA and the fiftieth commemoration
of the closing of the Second Vatican Council indicate an enabling juncture to test the hermeneutics of their historical processes. This article will form the basis for contributing towards that objective, relieving the performance of Carmelo Giaquinta as a teacher and dean of this institution, which aimed to be molded into the light of conciliar renewal.
