Resumen

Este artículo explora la naturaleza de la sabiduría y aporta hallazgos de investigación empírica sobre el modo en que los empresarios entienden y ponen en juego la sabiduría práctica. En primer lugar el autor establece el contexto académico y de investigación sobre la sabiduría y "fronética" y luego utiliza la metodología de la Sabiduría Práctica Social (SPW) para analizar los resultados de una encuesta tomada a 181 ejecutivos senior, a quienes se les preguntó qué significaba la sabiduría para ellos, y cómo funciona en la práctica de la toma de decisiones empresariales.
