Abstract

The article is part of the book Emilio Lamarca, economista y organizador social, which is about to be released. The author provides a study about the economist Emilio Lamarca, his life and thought, whose essential principles can be found in his work: “The Decalogue and the economic science”. The article is divided into three parts: the first one highlights the contributions related to economic science made by that paper; then, shows a parallelism between The Decalogue –avant-garde and still current at present– and other bibliographical productions on economics and moral science. Finally, the author refers to Lamarca´s Catholic Social Thought and other social currents of Catholic thought.
