The Vocation of the Business Leader from the point of view of a businessman
Keywords:
SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, BUSINESS VOCATION, BUSINESS LEADERSHIP, COMMON GOODAbstract
This article starts from the question about the need to return to the concepts postulated since the Encyclical Letter Rerum Novarum by Pope Leo XIII on social development, and examines how these principles are taken up by the pontifical document Vocation of the business leader: A reflection. The author highlights the importance of the document and its analysis of the three aspects in which business life is developed: see, judge and act. Only the businessperson capable of achieving a balance between these aspects may be a true Christian business leader.
