Las imágenes del Islam y de los musulmanes en la corona de Castilla : construcciones discursivas cristianas (ss. XII-XV)

Abstract

The work that we sense beforehand later has as aim approach different aspects on the construction of the images and of the discursive practices that were projected on the Islam and the Muslims in the medieval Castile. In this respect, we will realize of the Mediterranean and peninsular context in the tensión Christianity-Islam, as well as also of some measures that from the Roman Church were projected on the Moors. We will take the precedents of the antiIslamic polemics then to enter the Castilian universe and to exemplify these disputes with some Christian writers to analyze his positions (attitudes) respect of the Islam and the veracity of his religion.
