La construcción literaria de personajes históricos en la Crónica de Sancho IV

Resumo

The aesthetic value of Crónica de los tres reyes has always been questioned due to its neutral style which contrasts with other works in this genre, such as Alfonso X and Pero López de Ayala Chronicles. The present work studies the narrative process by which some of its characters are confi gured in such a way that they give the plot a certain political direction which is different from other versions of the facts circulating in that period, like "Historia hasta 1288 dialogada".
