Gnosticism affects legal thought through topics that have in common
denying the concrete reality of things in Law. In this work, the author
generally characterizes the Gnostic currents and attends especially to three
topics that would have as a theoretical function to replace the classic and
realistic doctrine of natural law: consensus, the so-called “Human Rights”
and the ambiguous appeal to the “Dignity of the human person”.
