Abstract

This work is partially a result of an ongoing research project, which comes from a previous research, in which the programming of concerts from 2010 to 2013 was described. The specific objective is describing the presence and impact of twentieth century repertoire in the general programming, by questioning its relationship with notions of "early", "modern" and "contemporary". It tries to show how this "new music", that was in its time a certain kind of music of the twentieth century, linkable to the "modern" until the first post war period, and to the contemporary after the second one, today, with more than half a century old, has been incorporated to the repertoires of the main agencies and musical institutions in the academic music circuit.
