The research is referred to the argentine composers EIsa Calcagno (1905-1978) and Ana Carrique's (1886-1979) musical productions. Included in a more extensive project that embraced various other argentine female composers, it constitutes a first approach to the professional trajectory of both and an ordering of theirs musical productions, accomplished at the beginning of the 1990 decade. We propose now its publication, in the conviction that although they are initial works in which preponderates a documental interest, they result necessaries for the future reconstruction of a fraction of the argentine music history. According with Leo Treitler who, accepting recent Eric Hobsbawm's comments about historiography says that "without the distinction between what is ir and what is not, there can not be history" , we present in this article the particularize facts of the catalogues, preceded in both cases of sorne general observations about the studied production and its possible socio-cultural pursuits in the view of the circulation and reception of academic argentine XX century music. Tbe author lays her investigation opened, finalizing with an appealing to the necessity of a serious study referred to the function that played the argentine vocal production of didactic kind in the constructions of the collective identity, promoted from the cultural nationalism's hegemonic tendency.
