The Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina has created this space to disseminate the academic and scientific production generated by its magazines.

The University expresses on this platform its adherence to the philosophy of open access to scientific literature, allowing it to download, distribute, copy and print its material without restrictions, thus ensuring the fulfillment of two fundamental objectives: Unrestricted access to information, without economic, legal or technical barriers and increased visibility and impact of the institution and its researchers.

    Revista del Departamento de Lenguas de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras. Contiene artículos científicos orientados al área de las lenguas extranjeras. Su objetivo es servir de espacio de intercambio profesional de artículos de investigación sobre nuestra esfera de conocimiento, y de ser el puntapié inicial para incentivar este tipo de trabajos a futuro, por lo que quedan todos los lectores invitados a enviar sus trabajos científicos para su consideración en nuestras próximas convocatorias.

    Colección is a publication that aims to promote the development and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of national and international politics. The magazine adopts a broad vision of this intellectual field, recognizing and including the different disciplines and theoretical perspectives from which this reality can be approached. We believe that each of them can make a peculiar and valuable contribution to scientific research.

    Thus, inspired by the worldview that animates the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina and open to a pluralistic and critical debate, the magazine attempts to contribute to reflection and a greater commitment to the common good.

    The publication is aimed at researchers and academics in the field of social sciences, university libraries, research centers and other academic organizations that cultivate the scientific study of politics and international relations. Likewise, it wishes to reach a broader audience of diplomats, legislators, political analysts and specialized press, with a view to informing the theoretical and practical debate in our society.

    Cuadernos de Análisis y Debate sobre Músicas Latinoamericanas Contemporáneas

    Cuadernos de Análisis y Debate sobre Músicas Latinoamericanas Contemporáneas wants to provide a space for critical reflection that will greatly reach the interested public, from its own place and enunciation. It aspires, on the one hand, to creatively construct ideas and thoughts, even conflicting ones, about contemporary music, and on the other, to be rigorous and bring together the most prominent local and Latin American researchers, as well as composers and international specialists on current academic Latin American music.

    In order to offer a wide variety of visions, this publication is produced within the framework of a co-publishing project between academic institutions with recognized academic expertise in the area of ​​contemporary music studies. The participating institutions are the Instituto Nacional de Musicología “Carlos Vega”; the Instituto de Investigación Musicológica “Carlos Vega” of the Facultad de Artes y Ciencias Musicales from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, and Facultad de Artes y Diseño of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.

  • Cultura Económica

    Biannual journal of studies and research in the area of social philosophy and economics published by the Center for Studies in Economics and Culture of the Faculty of Economics of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

    The Journal promotes intellectual exploration on the cultural and ethical implications of contemporary economic problems from a humanistic and interdisciplinary perspective. The volumes are published in the months of June and December of each year. This Journal was created in 1983 under the name of Revista Valores en la Sociedad Industrial until its change of name in 2007.

    Estudios de Historia de España, revista semestral online, perteneciente al Instituto de Historia de España de la Universidad Católica Argentina, está dirigida a difundir los estudios de los integrantes y colaboradores del mismo en el área del hispanismo, así como también los trabajos enviados por colegas del país y del exterior, propiciando de este modo el crecimiento de la disciplina y un intercambio fructífero entre los especialistas.

    Su área de referencia es la historia y la cultura españolas en sus diferentes períodos cronológicos y en los distintos aspectos del desarrollo humano: político, social, económico, religioso, artístico.

    Forum es la revista del Centro de Derecho Constitucional de la Facultad de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, de edición semestral, y el vehículo de difusión de los estudios académicos surgidos de investigaciones realizadas por los docentes que integran el Centro. Incluye también textos elaborados por profesores y especialistas que participan en calidad de invitados. La publicación busca contribuir a repensar el Derecho Público desde la concepción iusnaturalista, bajo la guía los principios fundamentales de la justicia y el orden natural, iluminados por la Fe. Su cobertura temática comprende: Derecho Constitucional, Filosofía del Derecho, Derecho Internacional Público, Derecho Administrativo, Historia del Derecho, Derecho Canónico y Eclesiástico y Derecho Comparado.

    Letras (e-ISSN 2683-7897 | ISSN 0326-3363) publishes research papers belonging to the areas of philology, literary theory and criticism, linguistics, or other disciplines related to discourse analysis, with special emphasis on Hispanic Literature.

    It is published every six months (June and December) by the Department of Spanish, School of Philosophy and Spanish Literature and Language, Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.

    Prudentia Iuris is a biannual Journal of the School of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina “Santa María de los Buenos Aires”, which is aimed at developing a framework of legal thinking consistent with the basic principles of justice and natural order, illuminated by faith (Prudentia Iuris, no. 1, August 1980, p. 3).

  • Res Gesta

    Res Gesta is a History scientific journal edited by the Instituto de Historia of the Facultad de Derecho y Cs. Sociales del Rosario. From issue 51 is sponsored by the Nodo IH of IDEHESI, Executive Unit of CONICET.

    It has been published uninterruptedly since 1977 and since 2016 it is also available in electronic format.

    It privileges the disclosure of original research and unpublished documentation. It is aimed at specialists in the discipline and the academic community in general, as well as the public interested in these topics. It aspires to become a forum for reflection and debate on topics mainly referred to Argentina and America in an environment of individual freedom.

  • Revista de Psicología

    Revista de Psicología, published biannually, features the results of empirical research in various fields of psychology and related sciences. It also accepts theoretical and thematic review papers.

    Within the framework of necessary scientific pluralism, the journal's objective is to promote an integrated, non-reductionist knowledge centered on the dignity of the person as a unique and unrepeatable being, committed to the community to which they belong.

    The journal's content is aimed at specialists, researchers, university professors, and undergraduate and graduate students.

    It publishes results of empirical research in various fields of psychology and related sciences. The journal also accepts theoretical and thematic review papers. Within the context of necessary epistemological pluralism, the journal's objective is to promote high-quality academic and scientific knowledge that makes a genuine contribution to psychology and related sciences.

  • Revista del Instituto de Investigación Musicológica Carlos Vega

    La Revista del Instituto de Investigaciones Musicológicas “Carlos Vega”, de rigurosa periodicidad semestral, tiene como objetivo principal la difusión de las investigaciones llevadas a cabo por estudiosos calificados en el campo de la musicología en el amplio espectro de su competencia. Esta pluralidad temática se debe al deseo de cubrir los diferentes intereses del público al cual va dirigida: tanto investigadores y estudiosos de la música como al público que desea ampliar sus conocimientos al respecto.

  • Sapientia

    Sapientia is published biannually by the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina Santa María de los Buenos Aires. The publication is philosophical in nature, both theoretical and practical. It is directed by researchers and professors from the academic field. The main topics developed correspond to classical, medieval, modern and contemporary philosophy, although they include theological articles and the history of philosophy. Although the publication is part of an Aristotelian-Thomistic inspiration, a mark of its founding profile, Sapientia is also open to other forms of philosophical thought that enter or may enter into dialogue with the spirit of the magazine.

    Revista del Instituto de Estudios Grecolatinos “Prof. F. Nóvoa”. Su objetivo es reunir trabajos originales sobre temas del mundo griego y latino antiguos. El interés también se extiende a otras épocas (por ejemplo, temas de la cultura y el latín medievales, como del Humanismo, la literatura neolatina, la literatura neohelénica). También, a estudios de comparación o de influencia del mundo clásico con la cultura posterior. Eventualmente a estudios sobre pueblos antiguos relacionados con griegos y romanos (p. ej. Egipto).

    Revista Tábano (ISSN 2591-572X) is the biannual publication of the Center of Philosophical Studies of the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina, aimed at an academic audience specialized in Philosophy.

    It aspires to be a true reflection of the philosophical concerns of our Faculty, without restricting itself to any particular area, subject or current, and seeking to establish a dialogue with the international philosophical community. It seeks, drawing from tradition, to open itself to the most diverse philosophical thoughts until it becomes a living meeting place, a home for those who today dare to think transcendentally: to think about man, his world and his God.

    Tecnología y Sociedad es una revista académica de periodicidad anual del Centro de Estudios sobre Ingeniería y Sociedad de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Agrarias.

    Creada en el año 2011 con el objetivo de dar difusión a estudios, ensayos y actividades del Centro y de otras instituciones y autores vinculados a su temática, centrada en el análisis de las relaciones e implicancias sociales y culturales de la actividad de la ingeniería y de la tecnología en general.

  • Temas de Historia Argentina y Americana

    Temas de Historia Argentina y Americana is the periodical publication of the Institute of Argentine and American History (Department of History, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universidad Católica Argentina), which offers to the academic community unpublished and original collaborations, both from its members and from other national and foreign researchers. By these means it seeks to provide the growth of the scientific discipline and a fruitful exchange between specialists.

    Our reference area is Argentine and American history in its different chronological periods and in diverse aspects such as political, social, economic, religious and cultural. The intended audience is academics in general with a particular interest in the human sciences. Therefore, an open policy is maintained both in the reception of works and in their communication and dissemination.

    The magazine has been uninterruptedly published since 2002. Since 2012 the paper edition has been published annually and since 2017 it has been published in two digital volumes every six months. Contributions are received throughout the year, with the first semiannual volume published in June and the second of the year in December.

     

     

  • Teología

    Teología is published every four months (April, August and December) by the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Buenos Aires. The journal is aimed at researchers, teachers and students of higher education. It offers unpublished articles on Theology and related disciplines. It receives contributions resulting from the research of the teachers of the Faculty and other unpublished texts of external collaborators, with scientific level, that respond to the profile of this publication.

  • Vida y Ética

    Vida y Ética es una publicación especializada en el campo de la Bioética que realiza el Instituto de Bioética de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina. Su misión primordial es la difusión y actualización de resultados de la investigación académica, la actividad docente y la proyección social, a través de artículos, ensayos, informes y demás trabajos sobre la Bioética con el fin de transmitir los valores que la motivan a los profesionales y a la comunidad en general.

    Está dirigida a personas interesadas en las temáticas bioéticas y, en especial, a los investigadores, para que puedan contar con opiniones fundamentadas y cualificadas sobre el sentido de su labor y los cuidados éticos que demanda. Además, quiere contribuir con sus reflexiones al desarrollo de una mirada personalista de la disciplina, al fortalecimiento del trabajo propio de los comités de bioética, y ser una fuente de consulta y de intercambio de experiencias de la docencia de la Bioética.
