This article is focused on the effort of a group of people who seek to disseminate and preserve the historical-cultural heritage of the city of Roldán. Its origin was a collaborative committee in charge of carrying out an exhibition of objects and photographs of the past of Roldán. This exhibition would be part of the celebrations of the sesquicentennial of Roldán, Province of Santa Fe, in the year 2016.
Its continuity manifested itself through annual exhibitions of objects and documents about the past of the city and, also, through the work to provide it with a public library and a museum with local and regional items. Since then, this group has become a custodian of local heritage with the premise of “this is everyone’s business” –alluding to the community– given that the organization is open to the contributions of the inhabitants of the region.
