Abstract

This paper aims to present and analyze multiple evidence in connection with mobility processes or interactions that developed within La Cueva’s gorge, as well as between this gorge and near and far sectors. Such evidence includes, among other indicators, routes of movement (internal and external), the pottery material, the remains of metallurgy, malacological and paleontology evidence, rock art analysis of different sites, as well as also the study of the documentary sources. The examination of that evidence shows that mobility or interaction has been important and varied along La Cueva’s gorge occupation since prehispanic times to the present.
