Abstract

Much ink has run stressing the importance of the doctrines of Francisco Suárez populist cause of the expulsion of the Jesuits. And prominent authors (William Furlong and Manuel Giménez Fernández, among others) on either side of the Atlantic, wrote at length about it and be the foundation of the Revolution and Independence. But lately has appeared another interesting interpretation, giving more prevalent - in their expulsion-a like tyrannicide doctrines and probabilism. This is what we present here.
