Abstract

The colonizing immigration that received the National Territory of Santa Cruz configures It’s main characteristics. This phenomenon originated from the receipt of a significant number of people from different nationalities seeking insertion into a different world and a new labor market. This affected the social, economic, cultural and even political at that time. Within this process, which affected the entire country, one of the most unique is the development settler population of Santa Cruz in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The same characteristics that deserve this particular and detailed analysis.
