Abstract

This article presents a refl ective critical panorama about the contributions that some Argentine and foreign investigators to the archaeology of the Northwest Argentine made. We analyses yours respective investigations within the socio-historical context, and the importance by each one of them in the methodological and theoretical development of national archaeology.
